Wednesday 3rd June

English: LO: To create an alphabet poem with adjectives, verbs and nouns.

Take a look at the link below and create an alphabet poem that is full of wonderful vocabulary. Each line needs an adjective (describing word), verb (doing word) and a noun (a name or object).

I have an example in the link below- please share with me on j2e- misshughes

Maths:

Miss Hughes’ group – L.O. To add money

Carrying on with money again today and you will be adding two amounts of money. You might find adding the pounds first and then add the pence easier. You can then exchange the pence for pounds to complete your calculations. Watch the video below and then do the attached worksheet.

Mrs. Gregory & Mrs. Postlethwaite’s group – L.O. To order money

Today you are going to use the fact you know £1 = 100 p to compare amounts. To being with all the amounts will either be in pounds or pence, but then you will order amounts that include mixed pounds and pence and also totals represented in decimal notation. Place value grid at the ready…again! Watch the video below and then do the attached worksheet.
