Spellings: Common Exception Words

Suffix: Yesterday you made a suffix bingo game so today either swap boards and play again or take a board each, place all the suffix cards face down on the floor and take it in turns to turn a card over, if you can make up a word use it or if not place the card back, face down. When it is your turn if you could have made a word with your opponent's card and you remember where they placed it you might choose to select it. The winner is the first person to find a suffix for all the words on their bingo card.

English: Over the next few lessons we are going to use ' Superheroes' to base our English work on. To start with I would like you to read the fact files of the three superheroes we are going to be working with.

Jo, Raja and Sammy have helped lots of people. Here’s one of their stories. Click on the link to listen.

Either talk through your answers with an adult or I have uploaded this activity as a PDF if you wish to print it off and draw lines.

Maths:  Today we are looking at the properties of 3D shapes. If you are confident naming, matching nets to 3D shapes and you understand the different properties then go straight to the learning activities below. If you are a little unsure of 3D shape properties then click on the link below and follow the online activities.
