Maths:

Miss Hughes’ group – L.O. To order fractions

This session on fractions involves you ordering unit fractions and fractions with the same denominator. You will be using bar models and number lines to order the fractions and write them in ascending (going up) and descending (going down) order. Watch the video below and then do the attached worksheet.

Mrs. Gregory & Mrs. Postlethwaite’s group – L.O. To order decimals

Once again, you are going to use your understanding of place value to order numbers with decimals with up to two decimal places. Understanding how to use 0 as a place holder is so important. You will also be using the inequality symbols (< and >) and words such as ascending (going up) and descending (going down).

Watch the video below and then do the attached worksheet.

English: Lo: To revisit and revise the word endings 'sure' and 'ture'

Below you will find a work sheet for either year 3 or year 4, have a go at completing these. The word endings 'sure' and 'ture' are very similar so think carefully on how each word is spelt.

New book- The votes as of 10am on Tuesday showed that 'Slime' by David Walliams will be the book I read to you next. I have ordered it and I am hoping it will arrive today sometime so keep your eyes peeled for the first chapter!
