English: To revise grammar, punctuation and spelling.

The BBC Bitesize website is a great tool when it comes to revisiting knowledge and learning something new. Below you will find 2 links, one link is to a KS1 game, which will revise everything you had learnt up to Year 2- so is a great tool to revise and replenish. The second link is a KS2 game which will revisit some things that you have learnt already in Year3/4 but will also touch on things that will be taught in Year 5/6.

So look at the 2 games like this:

Helpful tip- if you log into the BBC Bitesize website (with permission from parents) your game data will be saved and you will be able to come back and continue moving your way through the levels.

Bronze Challenge: Karate Cats English

Silver/Gold Challenge:  Crystal Explorers

Maths:

Miss Hughes’ group – L.O. To reason and solve problems involving comparing fractions

You are carrying on comparing fractions today and are going to use your understanding to help you answer reasoning and problem solving questions. You might like to have a fraction wall handy to help you. Remember, you can watch the video again if you need to.

I have attached Bronze, Silver and Gold activities for today. Pick the one you feel most confident with and, if you complete this, maybe challenge yourself with the next level up.

Mrs. Gregory & Mrs. Postlethwaite’s group – L.O. To reason and solve problems involving comparing decimals

You should be decimal experts by now so should be able to answer these reasoning and problem solving question and provide me with fantastic explanations :) Have that place value grid handy yet again and don’t get caught out! Remember to check your answers as I’ve seen some silly mistakes, which I know are very annoying. Remember, you can watch the video again if you need to.

I have attached Bronze, Silver and Gold activities for today. Pick the one you feel most confident with and, if you complete this, maybe challenge yourself with the next level up.

DT: Make play-dough

The recipe above is simple and easy, below I have converted the 'cups' measurements into 'grams/ml'. Have some fun and send in some pictures of some of the models you make with your finished playdough.

1cup flour = 128g

1/2 cup salt = 64g

1/2 cup water = 118ml
