Thursday 26th March

If you complete any work on J2e and would like us to see what you have done, you can share it with us quite easily. When you have saved your work, follow these instructions to share it with either Miss Hughes, Mrs. Gregory or Mrs. Postlethwaite:

English- LO: To practice spellings.

At the bottom of this page there is a link to a document that will show you how to access your spellings on j2e.

Miss Hughes' spelling group: We celebrated the fact you had now had the chance to learn all of the 108 statutory spellings for year 3/4 and you did such a good job at learning these over the last 6 months- so well done to all of you. The spelling list available on j2e today includes all of these spellings, please be reminded- this is NOT A TEST! It is there for you to access and practice. Today, I ask you to complete the list in full, this should take you about 30 minutes. The best thing to do is make sure your surroundings are calm and quiet so that you can concentrate and are able to hear the words and sentences being read out to you.

Mrs Gregory's spelling group: Mrs Gregory has shared your spellings with you on j2e, you will find the document attached to this page really helpful to be able to access these. Make sure your surroundings are quiet and calm, this will help you concentrate and able to hear the words being read out to you. You can have more than one go if you like!

Maths -

Please remember, if I set Bronze, Silver & Gold tasks you do not need to do all of them! You might start on a level and find it a little easy, so stop and move to the next level and similarly you might start on a level that is a bit too difficult, so stop and move to the previous level. By all means challenge yourself but, as much as I love maths, I do not expect you to complete everything!

Miss Hughes' group - L.O. To use my knowledge of making the whole to answer reasoning questions

Today you are continuing to work with fractions and making the whole. You are moving on to answering reasoning questions and explaining your thought process. I know this is more tricky but it is a good way of making sure you are confident with the maths you are doing. Discuss your answers and thinking with your parents, it helps to say things out loud. You can watch yesterday's video as many times as you need so that the concepts are locked into your head.

I have set one task for today. If you can put your answers on J2e so I can see how you're getting on, that would be great. Remember, you can also use J2e to ask me for help. Just share the file with me and I'll do my best to get back to you as soon as I can.

Mrs. Gregory & Mrs. Postlethwaite's group - L.O. To use my knowledge of tenths as decimals to answer reasoning questions

Today you are continuing to work with tenths and writing them as decimals.
