Activity 2: Re-watch the following short-film.

Setting Description: Below is an example of a setting description using all of the features that I would like you to use today in your very own setting description. This description uses a colour coded key to show you where short sentences, metaphors, similes, alliteration and personification are used. This setting description is not at all related to this short film. Read through it carefully.

Activity 3: I would like you to imagine that sometime after Veridion left, you were walking through the woods and noticed that the cottage door was swinging open. This tempted you to take a look inside. Write your own setting description of everything you experience on the next page.

Try to use the above devices (in the example setting description) in your own writing and share these with me on J2E if you can. This will be the final piece of writing I will see of yours this year so lets make it the best we can!
