Learning from home
We are so pleased to have our pupils back in school. Learning together, playing outdoors and following our curriculum we feel enables our pupils to thrive and grow. However, we also recognise the need to remain vigilant and stop the virus from spreading. Some of you may need to stay off school for a short amount of time, if you or your family have symptoms, are awaiting a test or are advised to self-isolate by the track and trace system. You may need to quarantine in the eventuality of a return from a holiday or visit. You may find that you test positive for the virus, but feel well enough to continue learning. Whatever the circumstances, we want to ensure that you get the best opportunities to continue to learn and grow. To achieve this, we have pre-prepared home learning for you. Should any of the above scenarios arise, we will provide parents with the password to the year group sections of this page, where you can access opportunities and lessons remotely. If you are struggling, as you do not have the technology to learn remotely, we are able to provide a laptop on loan whilst you are not able to be in school. Please request this from Mr Turvey via e-mail: [email protected] and we will arrange to get this to you along with the login details to gain access.
Children in years 1 to 6 should complete English, maths and one other subject each day. Children in reception have phonics and maths tasks each day and some writing activities to practise their skills.
