Friday 3rd April

Maths:

As it’s the last day before we break up for Easter, I have set everyone the same Easter themed activities for today. The first activity is a maths mystery, which I know you all love to do, based on a destroyed Easter bunny costume…who committed this dastardly act?! For the second activity you need to crack the code in order to find out the punchline for an Easter joke is.

Also, I would like you to complete one page of your Mental Arithmetic book. If you are able to, mark your work with a parent, adult or older sibling at home.

I won’t be setting any maths work over the Easter holidays, but you can always log on to Prodigy or TTRS if you want to carry on doing some work.

See you back here on Monday 20th April.

English-

Your task for today is to complete your recipe work, and if you can please upload them to j2e, you will find a video on how to do this on yesterday's page. If you have any questions or need any help, email head@abberley.worcs.sch.uk and Mr Turvey will forward me your work/queries as I would like as many as possible to be shared on the website.

For those of you who are in my English group normally, you will be pleased to know, the rest of The Explorer is now available for you to listen to. Use this link to find it- The Explorer- Read by Miss Hughes
Do you remember I told you that the first time I read the book, I stopped before the final 2 chapters, so that we could share the ending together? Well.. even though we're not actually together, I hope you enjoy them as much as I did.

I look forward to reading and trying out your recipes. Have a lovely Easter break with lots of rest and be good!

Miss Hughes :-)

Art- LO: To enjoy some more drawing with Rob Biddulph.

Your art was super last time! I hope to see lots more on j2e so I can upload them to the website.
