Watch the short film for a final time:

 

 

Sequence the main events of the story 1-10.

Write a diary entry from the perspective of the main character using the thoughts and feelings you collected yesterday and the sequenced events of the story you have written today.

Here's a checklist of the key features to use when you write a diary entry.

  • Start with 'Dear Diary’.
  • Describe the places where the events happened.
  • Write in the past tense.
  • Use pronouns like I, my and me to show that the events happened to you.
  • Talk about how you were feeling or what you were thinking when each event happened.
  • Use interesting vocabulary

Open the attachment below titled 'History Lesson: Dates 2'. Have this file open alongside my instructions below. Do not skip ahead and read each page carefully.

  1. Stop on Page 7: Cut out and stick or in write in your books these major events in history in chronological order.
  2. Stop on Page 8: You are to create a timeline of your childhood memories, giving a brief description about most years of your life. Remember to date each event and make sure each event is in chronological order. You could even draw or use pictures to mark each major milestone.
