Covid - 19 response
We are absolutely committed to providing the best possible education we can, even through this uncertain period. We wish for all of our children to thrive and feel that the best possible place for this is in school, where they can work together and follow the curriculum under the tutelage of their teacher.
Our school risk assessment outlines the measures we are taking to make sure that the school is as safe as possible. This has been updated on 12.1.22 to reflect the increased number of cases in school. This can be found below.
Following our return to school in September measures have been relaxed. However, in the event of an outbreak we will follow our Outbreak Management Plan which has been created inline with the following guidance: Contingency framework
We are also preparing our school's remote learning plan, should children be required to quarantine, isolate due to track and trace notification or if we are required by the local protection team to close groups or the whole school. Our remote learning policy can be found here: Remote learning policy
If you or your child have symptoms of covid-19 which are a continuous cough, loss or taste or smell or a fever, you must not attend school and must begin self-isolation along with everyone in your household. Visit https://www.gov.uk/get-coronavirus-test to arrange a test and inform the school. Please let us know the result so that we can identify any close contacts in school.
