It was a pleasure and a privilege to watch the Year 3&4 Team represent Abberley School at the Tag Rugby Festival last night. I was incredibly proud of every single pupil who took part. They demonstrated excellent teamwork, sportsmanship, determination and enthusiasm throughout the event, and were wonderful ambassadors for our school.

Although the event was a fun festival rather than a competitive tournament, I think our team would certainly have returned to school with some silverware had it been! The children won three of their matches and drew the fourth, an outstanding achievement that reflects both their skill and their ability to work together so effectively. Well done to all involved.
