A wonderful day of exploration
Please join us for one of our open mornings to see how our school enables our pupils to flourish and gain a love of life.
The children lined up on our back playground at 11.00am today, where our Head of School Council read the words from For the Fallen, before two minutes of silence in commemoration for all those who have served and continue to serve and sacrifice for us. Miss Coleman, our clerk, played the last post on the tenor horn to bring the reflection to close.
During assembly we learnt about the Unknown Warrior in West Minster Abbey and reflected on why his identify has been kept anonymous. We also learnt of and remembered The Headmaster of the School, Arthur J. T. Warren who joined the Royal Field Artillery on 6th May 1916, despite being eligible for exemption, and was killed in action in October 1917.
Despite the circumstances, we want parents to make an informed choice about the school they entrust their child's education with. Please do take the time to visit us and see our wonderful school and meet our teachers.
Since 1st June, we have had the pleasure of having our year 6 children back in school. We're not just saying that either. They have been a brilliant year group right through the school and have led the school this year with a strong sense of their values and a desire to make a difference. Their example to the rest of the school community is outstanding. We wish them so much success for the future and hope that they bring the same positivity to their new school as they have done to ours.
Throughout this week children across the school enjoyed hot chocolate and toast to raise funds for the homeless people of Worcester through the Salvation Army.
If you have not already done so please would you take the time to complete our parental questionnaire. We value your opinion. Please complete it for each year group in which you have a child.
