What a wonderful way to spend a wet breaktime, eating toast and drinking hot chocolate! Well done to the CREW values group for organising this whole school event. Not only did the pupils enjoy their treat but they were also able to think how the funds raised will help support homeless people across Worcestershire.
Thank you to the Friends for organising a fun idea of breaking the rules day to celebrate the leap year. Will we have to wait another four years to break so many school rules in one day?

Today, year 6 took part in the maths game 'Roll and Round'. This game involved rolling three dice to create a number to 3 decimal places. They then has to round this number to the nearest hundredth and then colour in their answer on the game board. The winner was the first person to get four in a row. They all had great fun competing in their pairs whilst consolidating their understanding.
Well done to the children who have been selected by the lunchtime staff for this half term's table of awesomeness!

After eating their lunch and enjoying eating some special food treats, pupils played party games until the end of the lunch break.

The Online Safety group led the whole school assembly this week. We discussed how we can keep safe while online and we enjoyed playing the true and false quiz made by the pupils.
In science, Skylarks were set the challenge of helping Humpty Dumpty stay safe! Using their knowledge of the properties of materials, the children had to choose two different materials that they predicted would save Humpty from cracking the next time he fell off the wall. The children showed all that they had learnt this half-term, justifying their choices using scientific vocabulary and having fun at the same time!
