Thursday 25th June

Maths:

Miss Hughes’ group: L.O. To complete consolidation work on multiplication and division

Today’s task is covering our multiplication and division work. You will be answering questions about multiplying and dividing by 3, 4 and 8 and the 3, 4, and 8 times tables. You have been practising these on TTRS so hopefully you will be able to answer all of the questions today.

Mrs. Gregory & Mrs. Postlethwaite’s group: L.O. To complete consolidation work on multiplication and division

Today’s task is covering our multiplication and division work. You will be answering questions on the 11 and 12 times tables, multiplying 3 numbers, factor pairs, formal multiplication (which you were all great at!) and formal division. Please don’t panic if you can’t remember how to do some of these things, just take each questions slowly and try your best :)

English: To create a timeline for an autobiography.

I have really enjoyed reading your biographies written about your family members. They are all incredibly interesting and I have loved the diverse subjects, some about brothers, some about sisters, some about mums and dads- even one about a great, great, great grandma! Amazing work everyone.

Now- I know I know you all pretty well, but I would like to get to know you even more, so it's time to write your very own AUTOBIOGRAPHY. Today all you need to do it create a timeline of your life so far, include the main details such as being born but think carefully about what other significant things happened in your life. You could even include some photographs to help you remember the events more clearly. Try and get as many things on your timeline as possible as this will help with your writing tomorrow.

Click the tab at the bottom to help you out.

Spelling: Mrs. Gregory & Mrs. Postlethwaite's English group

Please ask someone at home to test you on last week's spellings. You will find your new spellings in your files on J2e. You can also practise your spellings on J2Blast. Check which ones have been shared with you to make sure you are selecting the correct ones!

Computing L.O.: To create digital art

Over the next 4 weeks, you are going to use your computing skills to create digital art using different artists as inspiration.  This week's artist is Mondrian, a particular favourite of mine. I'm sure some of you will be able to guess why when you see some of his work!

I have attached your instructions below. Enjoy, be creative and have fun!
