Reception are really enjoying their new topic "The lost penguin" and finding out what it would be like to visit a polar environment.  Last week at outdoor learning, Wrens took on the challenge of freeing the penguins who were frozen in the ice. The children were given a range of different substances; flour, salt, sand, hot and cold water to decide what would help melt the ice the quickest to rescue the penguins.
