Last Thursday, Year 6 had a wonderful day on the River Severn in Worcester. They used team work and good paddling skills to journey up and down the river. Year 6 saw Worcester city from a different angle and in particular enjoyed listening to the echo from under the bridge and watching a heron perching perfectly still on the river bank. 
After we had gained our confidence on the boat, Year 6 had a go at standing up paddling and cat walking up the middle of the boat.
