Congratulations to the children who were awarded certificates in our Celebration Collective Worship today for living out our School Vision of "Love, Grow and Flourish Together." 

Inspired by the story of "The Little Red Hen" Reception have been making bread this week. First we took a walk to the shop to buy the ingredients.  Next, we weighed and measured the ingredients before mixing and kneading the dough. Eve

Day 2 of our Oakerwood Leisure residential was packed with excitement. The children began their morning with a hearty breakfast before rolling up their sleeves to create authentic traditional pizzas, which were cooked in clay ovens.

After this, they tackled the Borneo low ropes challenges with great teamwork and determination, before setting off on a woodland navigation trail to test their map-reading skills.
 

In the evening, everyone enjoyed chicken nuggets and chips from the local fish and chip shop, followed by another round of marshmallow toasting around the fire. There was also plenty of downtime for the children to relax and enjoy their glamping pods before settling in for the night. A very successful day two!

We warmly invite all new and existing parents to our Open Morning. Prospective families can explore our welcoming school environment and see our pupils learning and thriving, with our students themselves taking tours of the school.

Existing parents are also welcome to come along and experience the school in action.

In addition, our community group, together with the Friends’ Association, will be hosting a Macmillan Coffee Morning in our newly refurbished school hall, so you can enjoy a cup of coffee and a chat while supporting a great cause.

Our new Reception children are settling into life at Abberley making new friends and having lots of fun.
