What is Young Voices?
The largest school choir concerts in the world. Our choirs range from 4,500 to 8,500 children, all performing at the same time to capacity audiences of friends and family.
Nothing can prepare you for the sound of thousands of children singing in harmony. Young Voices combines the power of singing together as one, with accompaniment from a wide range of musicians and artists, to create an amazing performance.
Every year, schools across the country practise our music in class with their teachers to prepare themselves to take part in these massive concerts. Over the years the children in the choir have performed with artists such as Alexandra Burke, Joss Stone, and Gary Barlow as well as raising over 1 million pounds for Children’s charities such as CLIC Sargent.
With a full live band, backing singers and the internationally acclaimed conductor David Lawrence, it makes for one of the most exciting and memorable musical
Young Voices 2018
On 9th January 2018 we all arrived at school and couldn't wait to get on the coach and head off to the Genting Arena. All our hard work of learning the songs and actions was about to be shared with thousands of other children. We had a long afternoon rehearsing but it was exciting watching how professional artists have to do sound and light checks, and of course we were part of this! At 7 pm the lights went down and we all shone our mini torches, the atmosphere was electric. It was an awesome night and I can't wait to go next year and sing like a professional again.
