What a fantastic final week of term. There was so much to celebrate and it has been very busy. During the last two weeks, we have been completing our termly assessments and the focused way in which the children have conducted themselves makes me proud of them. I will be meeting with the teachers after the Easter break to discuss each child's progress and how we can adapt to support them.

Thank you to all of those who worked hard to develop as Easter Bonnet. The children looked incredible for their parade and Easter service.

We were also delighted to meet with many of you on Thursday to share in our Easter service led by our year 3 and 4 children. We hope that it provided a chance to reflect on the time of year and to consider what we might like to do differently as the period of lent comes to an end.

Today's celebration assembly was a joy and it was a pleasure to listen to the teachers talk about all of the amazing things the children have been up to. Photos of this can be seen in the news story below.

I hope that you enjoy the Easter break and look forward to welcoming you all back to school on the 17th April.

Yours sincerely,

Joel Turvey

Easter trail

Due to the rain, which seems to have been falling for the whole of March, the Easter trail scheduled for tomorrow has been cancelled.

Comic Relief 2023

Thank you to everyone who contributed to our Comic Relief fundraising activities.  We had so many fantastic entries into our Mr Man and Little Miss competition it was very difficult to choose the winners.  We are going to make a display of all the brilliant designs in school.   Thank you also for the generous contributions of cake for our bake sale and supporting the day by wearing your brightest clothes.  In total, we raised £252.80 for Comic Relief.
