What a wonderful week we have had in school. One of the real highlights has been seeing the friendship bonds continue to develop between our oldest and youngest pupils. These relationships are a very special part of our school community.

I would also like to extend a sincere thank you to Bryan and Jamie, Leo's parents, for their incredibly generous leaving gift to the school of a set of iPads and a charging trolley. We are extremely grateful for this donation. The devices have now had all the necessary monitoring and safeguarding software installed and, following staff training, will be used to further support our curriculum and enhance learning opportunities for our children.

A huge thank you as well to Rauri's dad in Year 1, who has built a fantastic new mud kitchen for our Forest School area. The children are already excited to use it, and it will provide wonderful opportunities for imaginative play, exploration and outdoor learning. We are so fortunate to have such supportive families who generously share their time, talents and resources to enrich our school environment. Thank you!
Housekeeping Reminders
Abberley Acorns & After-School Clubs
Please remember that all clubs must be booked and paid for through Arbor. Clubs should not be booked via the wraparound care booking form or through requests made directly to members of staff. Bookings for wraparound care should be made using the booking form available on the school website.
Art and DT Protective Clothing
If possible, we would be grateful if children from Year 2 upwards could bring an old shirt or T-shirt to keep in school. This can be worn over their uniform during Art and Design Technology lessons to help protect clothing while allowing children to fully engage in creative activities.
Term Dates
Our term dates, including this year's TED days, together with a number of key school events, have now been added to the online school calendar/ Term Dates on the school website. Please take a moment to familiarise yourself with these dates and add any relevant events to your own calendars.
Finally, keep an eye out next week for an exciting update from the Friends', who will be publishing details of their events and fundraising activities for the coming school year. We are very much looking forward to another year of wonderful community events and opportunities to bring our school families together.
Thank you, as always, for your continued support and partnership. Together, we make our school a happy and thriving place for every child.
