Mrs Lightfoot is the teacher in Seahorses class, who is supported by two teaching assistants (Miss Williams and Mrs Slater). The children in this class are in Reception and Year 1 children.
We use our bright and colourful classroom and outdoor area to cover all areas of the curriculum and to support your child with their learning and development. Your child's Personal, Social and Emotional Development, Physical Development and Communication and Language skills are supported and nurtured throughout all of our teaching and learning experiences. Our school values are to develop children who are creative, independent and resilient learners.
We have a range of active and engaging ways to help your child with their literacy, phonics and handwriting skills.
Our numeracy skills are developed through a range of practical activities. Here we have gone on a shape hunt to find different 2D shapes.
Understand of the World
During our Outdoor Learning sessions we are able to learn about the seasons and the world around us.
Expressive Arts and Design
We have our own creative area in the classroom where the children are able to design and create their own pictures and models.
Look through our gallery to see how we have fun learning the EYFS curriculum.
