L.O. To reason and solve problems involving comparing fractions

You are carrying on comparing fractions today and are going to use your understanding to help you answer reasoning and problem solving questions. You might like to have a fraction wall handy to help you. Remember, you can watch the video again if you need to.

Today you have a reading comprehension to complete. This text is all about Garden Birds. Your task is to read through the text and answer the questions linked to what you have just read. Please answer in full sentences and make sure that you’re using the correct punctuation.

In this lesson, you will learn that all matter is made up of particles. Particles are arranged in different ways in solids, liquids and gases giving them different properties. You will also learn how scientists use diagrams to represent the arrangement of particles.
